tve is thrilled to announce that leading infrastructure company Fastflow Group will again support the tve Global Sustainability Film Awards in 2017. This is Fastflow Group’s third year as main sponsor of the groundbreaking awards, which showcase the best of global corporate and organisational sustainability.
Neil Armstrong, CEO of Fastflow Group, said: ‘It is humbling to play a supporting role to the amazing tve team on such a prestigious stage at BAFTA. The awards shine a spotlight on the efforts being undertaken globally in addressing the challenge of living harmoniously and sustainably with each other and our planet – quite possibly the most important demand upon humanity of our time.
‘As a company providing a range of asset services to clients, the Fastflow Group understands the importance of honouring contracts. And the greatest contract of all is probably the one between us and our planet. The earth provides everything we need, our obligation is to respect, nurture and protect it. We hope you can join the efforts and support the tve Awards.’
tve executive director Cheryl Campbell said: ‘Fastflow Group is essential to the Awards’ year-on-year success. Fastflow Group CEO Neil Armstrong is not afraid to put his head above the parapet and challenge his peers to combine doing business with doing good – a case that needs to be made, urgently, if we are to tackle the problems of our planet.’
Companies and organisations are invited to enter films in three competition categories focusing on the Sustainable Development Goals agreed by world leaders in 2015. These goals set ambitious targets for world development: eradicating poverty and hunger; ensuring good health, quality education and gender equality; and affordable and clean energy, climate action and responsible consumption and production.
The 2017 tve Global Sustainability Film Awards competition opens Thursday 20 April.
