tve works with partners worldwide to make and distribute films which inspire change.
We inspire viewers to lead a greener life, entrepreneurs and corporations to take up the sustainability challenge, parents to educate their daughters as well as their sons, women to stand up for greater empowerment, and decision-makers to think, and act, differently.
tve covers the most important stories on the planet: from climate change to gender equality, from conflict to culture, health to human rights. Our viewers may be among the millions watching television at home or passengers on long-distance buses, school children or students, internet users or villagers gathering at open-air screenings under forest canopies.

tve is a UK registered charity founded by Central TV, the UN Environment Programme and WWF in 1984. We receive unrestricted funding support from individuals and organisations. Funding for individual projects comes from a wide range of organisations and commissioners.
