James Orengo, High Court Advocate – Kenya

James believes that Africa is still bedevilled by the same problems it faced when Kenya became independent in 1963 – issues including poverty, unemployment and ignorance are still unresolved. James believes that poor governance is responsible for Africa’s lack of success in dealing with these problems. Promoting democracy and a civil society is imperative if Africa is to empower and educate its people to make the right choices.
