James Orengo, High Court Advocate - Kenya
Africa Calling transports you into the realities of everyday life in Africa. Offering insights into the lives of ordinary African citizens, they are highly visual and diverse examples of life in today’s Africa.
James believes that Africa is still bedevilled by the same problems it faced when Kenya became independent in 1963 - issues including poverty, unemployment and ignorance are still unresolved. James believes that poor governance is responsible for Africa's lack of success in dealing with these problems. Promoting democracy and a civil society is imperative if Africa is to empower and educate its people to make the right choices.
