Global partners

Since the Rio Earth Summit in 1992, working with partners around the world has been integral to tve’s mission. Our Partners are independent organisations who either produce films about environment, development, human rights and health, or show and distribute films as part of their education and outreach work.

Where possible, tve commissions our Partners to produce films and series for international broadcast and distribution – resulting in innovative, authentic and vibrant documentaries, shorts and youth videos. And our Partners in low and middle income countries have access to our archive of films licence fee free for onward distribution.

Thanks to our Partners, and our commercial distributors, tve films have a huge global reach through television broadcasts, online, through community screenings, through sales to individuals, and through film festivals. For annual outreach figures please see Annual Reviews.

You can find a list of our Partners listed below.

We have worked with our Partners to produce many films and series including Life Apps, African Football Shorts, Micro Macro, and Africa Calling.

tve also fundraises for and co-ordinates the Broadcasting for Change network, a group of international broadcasters and producers founded by tve and committed to making and airing programmes on women’s rights in their countries.

You can find out more information about two series made by the network here: Snapshots of Change and Why Women Count
