5 April 2011, Café Spice, London
Tuesday 5th April 2011
Cyrus Todiwala, one of Britain's most successful Indian chefs, hosted this exclusive fundraising luncheon at his flagship restaurant Café Spice. Guests enjoyed a fabulous four-course meal, Indian music and were mesmorized by a magician at the restaurant which recently won two 'Green Oscars' at the Corporation of London's Sustainable City Awards. The guest speaker Karin Mortensen Laljani, former Managing Director of Clownfish Ltd shared her knowledge on sustainable business and how to do business and do good at the same time.
The luncheon also premiered an excerpt from one of tve's latest films and guests had the opportunity to further support the work of tve through our silent auction, featuring an eco resort holiday in Panama, Chagall artwork and a night for two in a luxury Prague hotel.
Many thanks to the generosity of Cyrus Todiwala and Kingfisher lager for helping to make this event possible.
