12 October 2005, Grand Committee Room, Parliament House

Wednesday 12th October 2005

The late respected historian and lecturer, David Rattray, bought the battlegrounds of Isandlwana and Rorke's Drift to life and captivated the audience as the history of the battles unfolded. The friends of tve hosted the lecture, which presented respect and compassion for both sides and the human stories that are still a part of its heritage today.

Many thanks to the hosts and organisers Morgan Stanley Investment Banking Division, Anglo American for providing the wine at the reception, and to those who donated gifts for auction.
